My interest in UX research began while working in finance when we needed to reduce errors while processing benefit payments. Solution? Redesign the software to be more user friendly. Since then, I have obtained my certificate in UX design from the University of Baltimore and am very close to finishing my M.S. in Interaction Design & Information Architecture! My focus areas have been quantitative research, information architecture, & accessibility.
On that journey, I have had the opportunity to work on user research for brands such as Kay Jewelers & the Virginia Art Therapy Association. I also served as the Director of CX for a small manufacturing company, Kapp Alloy, for two years.
I also am an artist in my free time and sell some art online, as well as donate my talents for local animal rescues. I volunteer weekly at Mainline Animal Rescue (a PSCPA affiliate) as a event leader, volunteer coordinator, and dog walker.
Me + one of my favorite shelter rescues who was saved from abuse by the PSPCA
